G.A.P. Christian Academy was founded out of a desire to provide children in Pahokee with a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment where they could receive a quality education and be encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our story begins with our founders living in the West Palm Beach area and participating in a church outreach to the community of Pahokee. Through that outreach, they developed a love for the people of Pahokee and felt called to relocate and serve the community.

The ministry, Church of the Harvest, provided hope to the local families through a food pantry, open 5 days a week. Church of the Harvest was established as a ministry that continued to grow and serve the community.

As the needs of local families became more evident, it was determined that a quality Christian education was needed. G.A.P. Christian Academy was established to help meet that need.

​

Today, G.A.P. Christian Academy is a growing part of the ministry, committed to providing an excellent Christian education where students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Through small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and a nurturing environment, we strive to help every student discover the gifts God has given them.

We are able to provide Christian education at no cost to families through the Step Up for Students Scholarship Program. In addition, students also receive books, transportation, and hot meals, etc. at no cost.

​

Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, G.A.P. Christian Academy will begin involving students in missions and service opportunities within our local community. These opportunities will allow students to put their faith into action while learning the importance of serving others.

G.A.P. Christian Academy continues to grow with a commitment to educating students, building character, and preparing them to make a positive difference in their community and beyond.
